Smoked Side Markers

Items needed for this mod:

1. Fingers
2. Testors 2949 Transparent Black Model paint
3. Rubbing Alcohol
4. About 30 minutes
5. Optional: Clear Coat

Steps:

1. Remove the side markers. This is VERY simple, just push in the forward edge and slide them forward. They will just pop out.

2. Clean them REALLY good. Use a toothbrush to get all wax residue out from the raised writing.

3. Apply thin coats, I used about 15 cause I wanted them BLACK

4. Let dry, and re-install

5. I have recently discovered that this particular spray does NOT hold up well to the elements. However, in my opinion, it still offers the best finish. You should follow up with a few good layers of clear coat to protect this stuff!

Thats it, now your ugly ass side markers are now more appealing. :) Enjoy
